Spring of birds and bandicoots

Hi All

On our last few visits to Wordwood there has been plenty of evidence of Spring. Lots of birds – see the photos of a visiting White-headed Pigeon under the page LFW – Spottings.   White-throated Treecreepers are nesting in one of our nest boxes. As we watched from the deck of The Nook, the male returned with food and fed the female.  Hoping for babies soon.  Pete took the cool photo of a pretend bird by lamp light one evening.

Most exciting of all, we captured the bandicoot that regularly visits The Nook at night on our wildlife camera.  See the photo of the bandicoot under the page LFW – Spottings.
